We got started on our Christmas activities last night. We made present tags for Santa and also made a super cool wooden ornament for our moms and dads. We got to welcome Rainbow into our group last night as well. Cant wait till we get to or weekend activities!

November 27th 2012

Tonight we invested our new leader Malak (Dallas) he was very happy to join our colony. After that we played the white cobra game and then made Yo-Yo's. Hawkeyes hands were completly covered in marker after tonight from pressing the yo-yo parts together. We also gave out our Halloween Patches because Hawkeye forgot to do it after Halloween!

November 20th 2012

Hawkeye was not here tonight but i heard that the beavers had fun! They learned tonight about sharing and cooperation. The beavers played a balloon game, Drew pictures of what cooperation means to them and had a story about hurting others feelings with red poison darts.

October 30th - Halloween Party

Well Our Halloween Party was a huge success! I would like to thank everyone who took part in planning set up and running of the event. We had so much fun! It was nice to have the Cubs join us last night as well. There were lots of super heroes, Monsters and ghouls. We played a hit the can game, marshmallow on a string, Potion making and Picture taking with Frankenstien and the witch. After we also had A very spooky cake and some cookies as well.
Also wanted to send a big shout out to the Venturer Company who we had help from running the event (Dallas and Jon) Thanks!

October 24 2012- Investure Meeting

Well all of our beavers are now invested and considered Eager Beavers! We had a great night and had a lot of fun. We had a special visit from our Group Commissioner Rusty, as well as Scouter Wendy. After the beavers received their new Neckers and were placed in their lodges, we all decided to make Spooky Spiders..... We also sang a song led by Rusty and had a few spooky stories. Cant wait till next week for our Halloween Party!!

October 16 2012

Last night we presented the beavers with their new tails..... After we taught them that their tails were not a snack they became used to them and all were proud beavers. The beavers also learned our beaver law motto and promise. We will be doing our investure next week so they will need to remember all three. We also did our first Halloween craft, we made pumpkin pals. Hawkeye kept them for now and they will get them back soon! We have also to welcome bubbles (Lori) and Tic Tac    (Melodie) to our group after the beavers choose names for them. We also chose our lodges, The scorpions and the cobras.

Sept 27 2012 - Canoeing with the Scouts

What fun the beavers had tonight! I'm sure it was the first time that most of the beavers had ever been in a canoe mine included! Hope to be doing a lot more things like this this year.
