February 26th 2013

Last night we made Thank you cards for George Rogers and Glen Finstant. The beavers had fun creating them and put some personal touches to them. We also had Malak read another chapter of the Friends of the forrest. Malak tought us a new cheer and played a new game with us.

February 20th - Baden Powell Dinner

We had our annual Baden Powell dinner last night and we had some guests come in from the city and and province. All of the food was great and it went off without a hitch. Big thank you to all of the parents who contributed to this event!

February 9th - Muttart Trip

We did a field trip to the Muttart Conservatroy to learn about the different ecosystems in the world. The beavers had fun learning and doing experiments. They also got to plant their own plant to take home! We would also like to thank the Cubs for coming along with us and joining our fun!

January 8 2013

Welcome to 2013! Tonight was our first meeting back from our Christmas break. The beavers were invited to bring and share an item from christmas and to tell us a little about it. After that Bubbles had played a game with the beavers about the importance of what is inside a gift rather than what it looks like. The Beavers were surprised to find out the results of what was in the nice gift and what was in the not so nice looking gift. After that the beavers made anminal keychains to take home.

December 18 2012

Tonight we had our Christmas party. We had a Very Vey hyper bunch of Beavers tonight. I think that there are a few little ones who are excited for Santa to come. We played a few games decorated some cookies colored Christmas paddles and then the best part got to open some presents!!!

December 14 - 15 2012

We had a great time Friday night Building our Beaver Buggies. All that attended had a blast sanding, Painting and assembling the buggies. After that we went into the hall and watched some Christmas movies and had popcorn and juice. We also had some cookies and a cake to celebrate our Keeo's Birthday!

Saturday morning we went sledding and again we had a great time. The weather was nice and the hill was empty. The beavers had a blast and want to do this again!

December 11 2012

We got started on our Christmas activities last night. We made present tags for Santa and also made a super cool wooden ornament for our moms and dads. We got to welcome Rainbow into our group last night as well. Cant wait till we get to or weekend activities!
